winter garden

There's something really exciting about a winter garden. I know that sounds lame, but think about it... those crisp days when the sun comes out to play and your whole body is toasty warm in its presence. I sometimes think the plants are smiling on such days.  Here's a photo of our garden taken today. As you can see, we have geraniums. I love them.  They make me think of my childhood. Just can't get enough of how wonderful they smell - same goes for lavender.
