An inquisitive and trusting little bird, the Rose Robin is never far from water, and is generally found in south eastern Australia. This graceful creature flits through rain-forests, densely timbered mountain ranges and scrubby lowland gullies. The female underside is usually grey, sometimes flushed with pink, while the far more colourful male famously sports a rose-coloured breast.
